UT philosophy professor Saana Jukola invited to advise European Commission concerning health governance in the EU

Saana Jukola, Assistant Professor of Philosophy of Health and Technology, was recently involved in high-level policy advising as a member in the interdisciplinary SAPEA working group. The group of 20 experts was responsible for writing an evidence review report (ERR) on One Health governance in the EU. The request for writing the review came from the Group of Chief Scientific Advisors to the European Commission. The EER and the opinion of the Scientific Advice Mechanism, which is based on the ERR, were published in November 2024.
