We are involved in a variety of educational activities targetted at different groups. At the heart of our teaching are the bachelor degree programme in Public Administration (currently still called Management, Society and Technology) and the master degree programmes in Public Administration and European Studies. We are proud to be able to say that in the past two years our bachelor degree was labelled as 'top-rated programme' by the Keuzegids Universiteiten. We also play an active role in our university's offerings for Lifelong Learning, especially in the area of public management and leadership.

International joint degree and double degree programmes
We have a long-standing collaboration in education with our academic friends across the Dutch-German border, who work at the Institute for Political Science of the University of Münster. This started in 2002 with our first double degree programme. We make an exciting next step in the academic year 2026/2027, when we start offering a three-year joint degree bachelor programme in Politics and Public Policy. At the master level, we continue offering a two-year double degree programme in Comparative Public Governance. The first year of this programme is identical to our one-year Master in European Studies.
The bachelor students from the joint degree do their first year in Münster and their second year in Twente, while being flexible in the third year. For the master students the order is reversed: they do their first year in Twente and their second year in Münster. Students who enroll in our regular one-year master in European Studies, thus have the possibility to continue in Münster and expand their degree programme into a two-year double degree.

Professor Oliver Treib from the University of Münster presents an apple tree to our programme director Veronica Junjan. The tree serves as a symbolic gift, celebrating 25 years of fruitful cross-border cooperation in academic education.
