Faculty Council BMS

Meet & Greet the Faculty Council on Wednesday 26 March
12:30-13:30
Ravelijn Atrium

The Faculty Council is a decentral participatory body representing both employees and students. The council has a say in faculty-specific policy and decision-making.

What we do

The Faculty Council (FC) represents both students and employees within the Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences (BMS). As a participation body, the Faculty Council collaborates with the Faculty Board to ensure transparent, inclusive, and well-optimised faculty governance. As an independent and critical voice, the Faculty Council is not afraid to challenge decisions, play the role of devil’s advocate, and encourage open debate to explore different perspectives. The Faculty Council consists of both students and employees, reflecting the shared responsibility for the faculty’s development and well-being. Depending on the issue, the Faculty Council provides advice to the Faculty Board or grants formal approval on key matters.

Member list and meeting documents are available on the faculty's intranet pages.

Get involved

The Faculty Council is committed to making sure that the voices of all students and employees are heard, acknowledged, and acted upon. We encourage everyone to raise concerns, suggest improvements, or propose new initiatives that can contribute to a stronger, more resilient, and better faculty community. Together, we aim to improve the way we work and create an environment where everyone can thrive.

Input, suggestions, complaints, or questions can be sent to the Secretary of the Faculty Council:
