BMSlab related Licenses and developed products/software
The BMS Lab has a wide range of software packages available for researchers and students. They serve varying purposes, ranging from qualitative analysis to group analysis and from motion tracking to sensor monitoring.
All the available software packages are listed and described on this page.
For example software on audio transcription, survey-software, apps, and software related to VR, EEG, eye-tracking and many more.
Equipment and software can be booked after filling in your Project Registration. If you would like to learn more about some of the software or their use, then the BMS Lab can help you. The Info Hub contains articles on the various packages, their uses, protocols, troubleshooting, and frequently asked questions.
OTHER UT scientific and software packages
The software for UT employees is available within the Microsoft Software Centre and students contact the Notebook Service Centre.
The University of Twente offers students and employees a range of different scientific and statistical software packages, like Atlas TI, LIWC, Matlab, SPSS and Stata. Note: the BMS Lab does not support this software!
- NVivo (at the BMS Lab)
BMS has 15 licenses (New Nvivo)) for QSR NVIVO. Only available for PhD's! Get in contact with the BMSLab (firstname.lastname@example.org) if there is a license available for you to use and if so, you receive instructions for download.
ATLAS.ti helps you to uncover the complex phenomena hidden in your data. ATLAS.ti offers a powerful and intuitive work environment designed to keep your focus centered on your material.
LIWC is a text analysis software program that calculates the degree to which people use different categories of words across a wide array of texts.
Matlab is a high-level language and interactive environment for numerical computation, visualization and programming. It is used to analyze data, develop algorithms and create models and applications.
SPSS Statistics is a software package used for statistical analysis in (amongst others) the social sciences, health sciences and marketing.
Stata is a general-purpose statistical software package for data management, statistical analysis, graphics, simulations, statistical analysis & custom programming. Get in contact with Johnny Lammers van Toorenburg
Covidence is a web-based platform to collaborate on systematic reviews, including steps like screening, data extraction and visualizing results. You can request a full account via your information specialist.
Clarivate reference management software. Export/import search results, attach PDFs, make notes and organize your sources. Both EndNote or Mendeley are supported by the information specialists.
