Kick-off meeting of Erasmus+ project ‘Developing, Assessing and Validating Social Competences in Higher Education (DASCHE)’

On 17-18 October 2017, the DASCHE project kick-off meeting took place at the Warsaw School of Economics. Project partners met to discuss methodological and organizational aspects of the project.

The main objective of DASCHE project is to support policy learning between countries and higher education institutions in curriculum development, assessment and validation of social competences of students. During the meeting, partners discussed the research methodology to be applied in the project, defining the term “social competences†as well as the role of universities in society, the values of academia and of teaching/learning in relation to social competences. Partners also presented the state of art and recent developments regarding social competences in higher education in their countries.
