Report on Enhancement of Quality Cultures in Teaching and Learning published

Establishing and enhancing quality cultures in teaching and learning in higher education has gained increased importance. In Autumn 2015 NOKUT, the Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, commissioned a project on the topic to learn more it and to support their Centre for Excellence in Education Initiative (SFU-scheme). The work was carried out by CHEPS and CHEGG, the Centre for Higher Education Governance at the University of Ghent in Flanders. The project sought to increase the knowledge base about possible measures to increase the quality of education at a national, institutional and programme level, with a specific emphasis on creating quality cultures. The research included an extensive literature review and five institutional case studies of universities in Norway, Sweden, England, Netherlands and Germany.

Results have now been published in the report “How Can One Create a Culture of Quality Enhancement?”. The report is available at the NOKUT website. Click.
