Article 7 of BME OER, article 12 rules Board of Examiners. The BME master's programme comprises 120 EC of which 15 and 45 EC are reserved for an internship and a master's assignment. Per track there are at least six compulsory courses (30 EC green). In addition, compulsory electives (minimum 15 EC blue) and free electives (maximum 15 EC orange) must be taken. You are allowed to take more than 60 EC of courses (as long as you meet the entry requirements of the courses). These will count as extracurricular, as long as you meet at least the requirements for the 60EC. The elective courses are chosen in consultation with the chairman of the master assignment committee. The package of subjects requires the approval of the chairman of the master assignment committee and the examination committee. The package of subjects must be approved at the latest at the end of the first quartile after the student has started with the Master of BME. When your course list meets all the requirements and all your courses are on one of the list, you can send in you course list directly to BOZ-BME@utwente.nl. When you have ‘other’ electives, you should send your course list to the Board of Examiners for approval. |

Check the meeting schedule of the Examination Board for the deadline for submitting your application. Please note that the course package needs to be approved at the latest at the end of the first quartile after the student has started with the Master BME.
