50th anniversary
In 2011 the University of Twente celebrated its 50th anniversary. The entire year students, staff and alumni could partake in the joyful celebrations!
Among other activities, the Experiment in het bos ("Experiment in the Forest"), an Open House and a large Alumni Day were organized. The anniversary year officially ended during the Dies Natalis in November, attended by no other than the Queen.
