AS A UT STUDENT, YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF AN INTEREST-FREE LOAN FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE laptop VIA THE Servicedesk ICT.
With the interest-free loan, the University of Twente (UT) advances the money needed for your laptop to a maximum of €1.250.00. You repay the loan monthly. The term of repayment depends on the number of credits you still have to obtain.
Example: when you start with a two-year master's, you have to repay the borrowed money to the University within 24 months.
To be eligible for the loan, you have to meet a number of conditions: you are already enrolled at UT and your application has been processed by the Central Student Administration.
In short, you first apply for an interest-free loan. Once approved, the advance is paid into your bank account, and you can then use that money to purchase a laptop from the order website.
How do you apply for the loan?
Fill out the two documents listed below. You can e-mail them together with the order confirmation of your laptop and a copy of your bank card or statement of your bank account.
Are you a current student?
Are you already studying at UT, have you already accumulated study points and do you would like to order a laptop via an interest-free loan? Then also fill out one of the forms below.
Submit documents
Make sure you fill out all the requested information. Incorrectly and incompletely answered questions will not be processed and will be returned to you.
