On Friday, 12 May, and Sunday, 14 May, UT-Kring organises a golf clinic on the course of Golfclub Driene (a 15-minute bike or car ride from UT). Golf is a great sport being a combination of mental and physical effort, where you have to be creative. You're always outside, it's always different and you can always do it together. All your life.
During the clinic, you will be taught by PGA professional Hugo de Bruin and learn the basics of the game.
The three-hour clinic starts at 14:00 with a cup of coffee or soft drink. We will then be taught in groups of up to 10 people on the driving range (a kind of practice area), followed by a short break with soft drinks, and then we will play for real on the short-game course (four real but small "holes"). The clinic will end with drinks and appetisers.
You can sign up by sending an e-mail to f.a.vandijk@utwente.nl, stating your preferred date. As there are a limited number of places available, allocation will take place in order of registration. After confirmation of your registration, you may make payment.
