Twente University FundAnnual Campaign

TEAM UP FOR TALENT!

Your donation counts, every year again!

VIA THE ANNUAL CAMPAIGN OF THE UNIVERSITY FUND OF TWENTE, A NUMBER OF SPECIAL PROJECTS ARE HIGHLIGHTED EVERY YEAR.

Scholarships for young talents, Twente nanotechnology for the fight against cancer, a solar-powered car and a sustainability fund for students: all this can be made possible through the contribution and involvement of the alumni of the University of Twente! Together we can make a difference so help us and Team up for Talent!

Become a donor and give to the project of your choice. Click on the photos below for this. You can also transfer your contribution to NL09 ABNA 0592 7191 89, in the name of Stichting Universiteitsfonds Twente in Enschede, stating the project of your choice. If you do not have a preference for one of these projects, but you do want to support the annual campaign, you can also make a donation. Then state 'No preference 2023' with your donation.

Support Sustainable Transport

We are Solar Team Twente, a student team with one goal: to show the world that sustainable transport is possible! This year we are designing, building and racing the 10th Twente solar car! Our challenge: to develop an efficient, aerodynamic and fast car in which we want to participate in various (solar) races around the world.

Support Equal Opportunities

Healthcare in my home country of Yemen is falling further and further behind due to the security and political issues at stake. The lack of expertise, misdiagnosis and ignorance often unnecessarily result in death. My dream is to improve health care in my country.

Support our Health Research

Together with my colleagues, I am looking for a new way to fight cancer. Here in Twente we have developed nanoparticles, tiny 'capsules' of a few tens to a hundred of nanometers in size, which can train the body's immune cells to fight cancer. Result: Tumor growth in mice with cancer was inhibited by 70% and there were no metastasis formation.

Support a Green Campus

We, the board of the Student Union, want to set up a sustainability fund to stimulate and facilitate our study, student and sports associations to become more sustainable. The students would like this, but for economic reasons they often opt for the cheapest solution and not the most sustainable one.
