Especially during these Covid times, student loneliness is a big concern at the UT. The Meet & Greet Street is a project targeted at students to make connections and reduce this loneliness by making new connections. Featuring conversation starters, standing tables and a neat decoration, the first edition of the Meet & Greet Street was introduced at four different campus locations. The standing tables reduce the threshold, while the conversation starters should ensure students get started with a nice conversation.
Every cohort has to organize a stakeholder meeting at the end of the design thinking training by Stanford’s design school. This gives the opportunity to have a face-to-face meeting with campus leaders and faculty who support entrepreneurship and innovation.
During this 24-hour worldwide event, 18 universities, Strategyzer, ECIU & KLM gave inspiring workshops. Next to the interactive workshops, there were small breaks in between with mini-games for participants to get to know other participants and make new and lasting connections.
Every year, UIF Twente organises a meetup during the CuriousU summer school festival. The student-driven meetup focuses on entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation.
