Laurin Bierschenk joins the SEED Lab as a PhD student, focusing on operando characterization of Solid Oxide and Protonic Ceramic Electrolyzer Cells. His work is part of the HyPRO project—the largest R&D initiative on green hydrogen in the Netherlands—uniting 58 partners from research and industry. Laurin earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Technische Universität Darmstadt and Université de Bordeaux. He completed his Master's with a thesis on oxygen electrodes for solid oxide fuel/electrolyzer cells at CNRS. Throughout his studies, he honed strong analytical and research skills, particularly in materials science. We’re excited to welcome you aboard, Laurin – it’s great to have you with us!
