The Nanobiophysics group (NBP) has successfully organised this year’s edition of the Dutch Chaperone Day on Wednesday 19 April in the Technohal. This event is organised yearly by the research community working on cellular protein quality control, protein misfolding, and protein aggregation in the Netherlands. The meeting aims at community building by bringing together researchers in different stages of their careers.
This year Dr. Christian Ottman, Dr. Tessa Sinnige en Dr. Kasia Tych from the universities of Eindhoven, Utrecht, and Groningen respectively were invited to present their work. In addition, PhD students and postdocs had the opportunity to present their latest results. This year 8 early career scientists were selected to give an oral presentation. Besides these oral presentations, there was ample opportunity to discuss science in a poster session over drinks and bites.
We are looking forward to next year’s meeting!
