Successful Open House at UT with many S&T groups participating

On Saturday, June 3rd, a successful Open House took place at the UT, with an impressive participation of 15 groups from the Faculty of science & technology (s&t).

There was a relaxed atmosphere accompanied by beautiful weather and an abundance of enthusiastic colleagues who wholeheartedly shared their expertise. The number of visitors was estimated to be around 2500.

The Open House provided visitors with a unique opportunity to get acquainted with various research groups within S&T. From nanotechnology to materials science, each group presented their field of study in an engaging manner to the interested audience. There were also plenty of fun activities around the theme of Health organised in the Techno Hall.

In addition to the intriguing discussions and presentations, there was plenty to offer for the youngest visitors. Numerous children's activities were organised to introduce them to science and technology in a playful way. From interactive experiments to exciting demonstrations, there was something for everyone. The enthusiasm and curiosity of the children were clearly visible, and they thoroughly enjoyed the educational experiences.

The success of the Open House was further enhanced by the collaboration among colleagues. Teamwork within the faculty contributed to a diverse and informative event for the visitors. Naturally, there are always aspects that can be improved, and these will be taken into account during the evaluation for future events. All in all, we can look back on a particularly successful, informative, and enjoyable day.

On behalf of Marketing Communication and the faculty board, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all participating colleagues for their dedication and involvement during this Open House!
