In collaboration with researchers from the PIN group and Vrije Universiteit Brussel, we have recently published the paper "Influence of Wettability and Geometry on Contact Electrification between Nonionic Insulators", which now features the cover of ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces. We show that electrostatic interactions are enhanced between a spherical particle and substrates when the humidity in the chamber is increased. These results are insightful for triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs).
