A research team led by David Fernandez Rivas investigated the cavity dynamics of fast travelling microfluidic jets impacting on liquids and soft surfaces squeezed between glass slides. Their published paper can be highly relevant for needle-free injecting applications addressed in the ERC-funded BuBble Gun project.
