Accelerating theoretical spectroscopy for complex multiscale materials
This week, some of us participated in the Lorentz-Center workshop “Accelerating theoretical spectroscopy for complex multiscale materials”, which was a full success. The workshop, co-organized by Linn, brought together experts in theoretical spectroscopy of complex excited state processes in multiscale materials. Approaches from low-scaling and embedding to machine learning and code optimization were covered, and so were electronic structure methods from QMC to GW/BSE. Claudia gave a lecture and a research talk and Raisa, Stu, Jacopo, and Kostas presented posters.
