October 1st, 2013 – Last week two new students joined the BMPI! Martin Buitink and Rieks Hekman are fourth year applied physics students and they have just started their Bachelor project about the influence of dynamic tissue phantoms on the decorrelation time of laser speckle, under supervision of dr. Ivo Vellekoop. Their ultimate goal is to determine how fast wavefront shaping needs to be done to be able to apply it to biological tissues. Their project will last for the next seven weeks.
We wish them good luck with their time in BMPI!
