During the Twentse Waterweken (Twente Water Weeks), fun activities are organized throughout Twente in a variety of locations around the theme of water. From guided tours and excursions to bicycle tours and open days. There is something for everyone! On groenblauwtwente.nl you can find an overview of all activities.
At UT, two activities take place on May 7: a tour of the Waterlab on campus and a serious game about the distribution of water. Read more about the activities and how to register here!

Serious Game for Water Allocation: together we flow
What happens when one use of water, for example growing food, is given a higher priority than another, for example, a healthy wetland area? How does this situation become more complicated when a river, like the Vecht and the Rhine, runs through several countries? In this session, you can experience what it is like to make these decisions yourself by playing the serious game "Together We Flow." You will learn more about the purpose of this game and how we use it with stakeholders to explore how water is allocated in a river basin.
This activity is organized in English. Please register in advance.
- When: Wednesday May 7, 13:00-14:30 or 14:30-16:00.
- Where: University of Twente, room 2315 in the Langezijds building. Click here for the route and map of the UT Campus.
- For who: anyone from 12 years and up.
