The MSc Robotics programme is founded on/by the strong Robotics research groups at the University of Twente. The expertise of these groups comes back in the curriculum of the master programme. The specialisations of the programme provide a strong robotics basis, but by selecting elective courses provided by the different groups and choosing a MSc-thesis project at one of the research groups, students specialise in the direction of Robotics application areas related to the Robotics research groups at the UT.
The collaboration between the Robotics research groups resulted in the setup of the Robotics Centre Twente in which the MSc Robotics programme also plays an important role.
