13:30 - 14:30 Organisational Resilience
Language: Dutch (English on request)
Location: Carre 3B
Our world is increasingly complex and less predictable and controllable. Our organisations have to deal with this. Some organisations cope well. They are resilient, and we can learn from that.
Resilience is an organizational capacity, consisting of proactive activities aimed at preparing for situations for which you cannot prepare for. Resilience is about observing, absorbing, adapting and sustaining, to accommodate unexpected, unplanned and complex changes. Resilience is not something you posses as an organisation, but it is what you do.
In this interactive session we will explore these capabilities of organisational resilience, using scientific models and practical experiences. The principles of Resilience Engineering, High Reliable Organizing and Human & Organisational Performance are important elements in organisational resilience.
I look forward to brainstorm with you!
