'Hard cut' rule - concerning admittance to Master's programme

The University of Twente will apply strict rules with regard to enrolment in our master’s degree programmes.

This rule is called the 'hard cut' rule: (in Dutch ‘harde knip’), and it implies that students may only start taking master’s degree courses upon having completed their bachelor’s programme completely.

So all Bachelor courses must have been completed successfully on 31 August, in order to start in the Master’s programme by 1 September.

Please be aware that the UT has to apply this rule as a result of Dutch legislation.
