a very common phenomenon - but not for everyone
An eye-opening challenge for anyone who's never had to deal with a very common phenomenon called menstruation.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to endure menstrual cramps every month? Probably not, right? Well, here’s your opportunity! The Amnesty International Student Team invites you to take on the Men-struation Challenge. Using a simulator, you’ll get to experience the sensation of menstrual cramps for yourself!
Now, you may be asking: what does this have to do with sustainability? Consider the environmental impact of menstrual products—everything from raw material extraction, manufacturing, and transportation to the huge amounts of waste generated by disposable items. Let’s keep investing in products that are eco-friendly, comfortable, and accessible for everyone. After all, that rising price tag is becoming a significant barrier for many. Fortunately, you can find free menstrual products at UT.
Can't make it on 15 October? No worries: you can also go on Thursday 10 October 12:00-14:00 in front of Vrijhof.
