At the University of Twente, four unions are active within the OPUT: FNV Overheid, CNV Overheid, FBZ and AOb. The local union representatives (OPUT) and their advisers meet every cycle in the Local Consultation together with Machteld Roos, vice-president of the Executive Board. Here they discuss staff-related issues such as:
- Organisational changes
- Employee wellbeing
- Legal status of employees
- Continuous redundancy plan
- Decentralised regulations and procedures
- The use of decentralised working conditions funds (AVWG)
- UT support structure
The AVWG funds regulate secondary employment conditions that are not explicitly included in the CAO, but partly result from it. For more information on this, please contact us at the e-mail address listed below.
The OPUT's internal consultation, which takes place every other week, is public and serves to prepare the Local Consultation with the Executive Board. Check the meeting schedule for an overview of all dates.
In addition, the OPUT is active in working groups focusing on HR topics such as the continious redundancy plan, the vacancy policy and the personnel benefit statement.
Furthermore, every two months the OPUT organises theme-related meet & greet sessions on campus, O&O terrein, near of the Waaier. Because we think it is important to hear what matters to UT employees.
Would you like to contribute to the above themes or raise a staff-related issue in the OPUT's internal consultation? Send an email to: secretariaat-oput@utwente.nl.
