During 2019, TheaterMakers Radio Kootwijk, University of Twente and Utrecht University have developed the theatre performance Mindlab – with the support of VSNU through the Dutch Social Fund for the Knowledge Sector (SoFoKleS). Mindlab was in part based on interviews with staff members of both universities. Meanwhile, Amsterdam University has also expressed its interest and has become an ambassador of Mindlab. The Mindlab digital theater performance has been developed in 2021, followed by inspiring and confronting mini Mindlab shows in 2022.

TheaterMakers Radio Kootwijk (TMRK) creates theatre performances with a group of renowned actors and musicians. Its pieces can often be found at the interface of work, life and love. TMRK operates from its own theatre De Theaterloods in Radio Kootwijk, and next to that performs in theatres across the Netherlands. It is unique for its performances created in close collaboration with organisations for their specific audiences. For example, Ons DNA was created together with the Dutch Public Prosecution Service, Camping Jokkmokk with Radboud UMC Medical Centre, Vuurdoop with the Dutch Defence organisation, and Rauw together with the Dutch national Police. No conscious-raising theatre, no educational performances, no answers, but confrontational and often inspirational pieces that intend to stimulate conversations within organisations about the essence of their existence; impactful performances that provide the inspiration for an open conversation.
