NanoLab Education

The NanoLab cleanroom contributes to various educational programs of the university. Under the supervision of the staff, students perform hands-on practical courses in the cleanroom. Courses are organized for the bachelor of Electrical Engineering and the master of Nanotechnology (only students from these BSc/MSc programs are eligible).

In order to make use of the cleanroom facilities, one needs to follow the Cleanroom Training Program, in which various aspects of working in the MESA+ NanoLab cleanroom are trained by means of theoretical and practical modules. After completing this dedicated program, one gets authorization to enter the cleanroom. Post to finishing this CTP, the cleanroom staff provides specific equipment training, such that these systems can be operated by academic researchers and company employees themselves. More information about the Cleanroom Training Program can be found on the MESA+ Information Site.
