The rapid advancement of large language models (LLMs) has profoundly affected how we design and evaluate assessments. Traditional approaches are being challenged, and without adapting our methods, it may become difficult to ensure that assessments accurately measure students’ progress and achievement of intended learning outcomes.
This session invites teachers to reflect on these developments and engage in collective exploration of how to design valid, meaningful and sustainable assessments in the age of AI. Participants will share their own experiences and strategies, while CELT experts will present examples, principles, and resources that can support teachers in rethinking their assessment practices. You can find more information in the CELT Resource Hub on AI in Education.
The insights gained will help shape CELT’s future support on AI-resilient assessment and provide participants with practical inspiration and actionable ideas to apply in their own contexts.
