We are happy to share that the accreditation visit for the MSc programme in Humanitarian Engineering occurred on February 9th. The aim of the programme is to equip engineering professionals with a set of skills and knowledge around cultural and ethical responsibility and resilience when dealing with high levels of uncertainty and working within underserved and marginalized communities. This unique challenge-based learning programme is developed by three faculties, namely ET, BMS and ITC. Led by Prof. Dr. Isa Baud, the accreditation panel included Drs. Judith Sargentini, Dr. Nazli Yonca Aydin, Vincent van der Wolf, Ikrame Faris, MSc (NVAO secretary), and Reina Louw, MA (Process coordinator).
We are pleased to report that the panelists provided positive feedback on all three standards of the TNO document ofthe new MSc programme. Currently, we eagerly await the final NVAO report.
