From 1 September onward Dr ir Jurnan Schilder will be the new location director for the UT/VU's Mechanical Engineering BSc program. He has already contributed greatly to this program so far: in the curriculum design, as coordinator of SEM1 and as teacher of several courses.
Former location director Pieter Roos will expand his activities as Associate Professor in Civil Engineering, and further represent UT’s ET-faculty as Senior Teaching & Learning fellow. "I am proud of what we have achieved together over the past period, and I thank everyone for the pleasant and fruitful collaboration!"
Also the ET Faculty board is very proud and wishes Jurnan all the best in his new job.

JURNAN SCHILDER
Jurnan Schilder works as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Twente’s Faculty of Engineering Technology (ET). He teaches a range of Bachelor’s and Master’s courses in the field of dynamics and mechanical vibrations. In November 2018, he obtained his PhD on a new numerical method in the field of Flexible Multibody Dynamics.
