Welcome to MARID VIII, the eighth edition of the Marine and River Dune Dynamics Conference.
MARID VIII will be held in Enschede, the Netherlands on April 12-15, 2026 and it is organised by the Marine and Fluvial Systems group of the University of Twente.
The MARID conferences provide state-of-the-art overviews in fundamental and applied knowledge of marine and river bedforms, from shallow to deep water, and from small to large scales. This edition will have a focus on the theme 'From patterns to practice: (applied) research across all scales'.
