By Train

Take a train to one of the train stations Hengelo, Enschede or Enschede Kennispark (from Germany: Enschede has a German train station that connects Enschede with Coesfeld, Münster and Dortmund. If you take the InterCity from Berlin to Amsterdam, your train will stop in the city of Hengelo).

To get to the Univeristy of Twente from either of these train stations, follow the bus instructions below. Enschede Kennispark is the closest station to the university.

By Bus

From Hengelo railway station take bus 8 or 9 to Enschede (buses 17, 18, and 19 also pass the University). Get off at the main entrance: stop  UT/Hoofdingang or the stop Westerbegraafplaats/UT.

From Enschede railway station take either bus 1 to Universiteit or bus 8 or 9 to Hengelo (buses pass the University). Get off at one of the stops on the campus.

From Enschede Kennispark railway station take bus 1 to Universiteit. Get off at one of the stops on the campus.

By Plane

If you travel by plane, usually you fly to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the largest airport in the Netherlands, close to Amsterdam. There is an intercity train from Schiphol that goes straight to Enschede Central Station.
