The SmartCrew is a flexible and enthusiastic team that provides support activities around the SmartXp. This team consists of knowledgeable, skilled and certified CreaTe/iTech students and full-time staff members.
The SmartCrew provides co-creation support in a design process belonging to a CreaTe/iTech student’s educational task aiming to achieve optimal realisation of student projects.
SmartCrew members are trained to use the SmartXp’s production facilities (e.g., laser cutter, 3D-printers, theatre setup) and equipment (e.g., LabStations, Autodesk Fusion 360), to help realize student project or support CreaTe/iTech lecturing staff during their class.
SmartCrew student-members may act as a Teaching Assistants for specific courses. Their tasks are limited to support of the co-creation process. Assignment of the TA-role is done in collaboration with the course lecturer(s) and the SmartXp’s supervisor.
