Vision & Mission
SIL-EE (Systems Integration Lab) was established as a project from the Electrical Engineering discipline back in 2022, with the goal of promoting more cross-disciplinary research across EEMCS. From researchers and PhD students to bachelor students, this facility gives project & research groups the tools they need for hardware-focused development and collaboration within the EEMCS faculty located in C2638.
In addition, the lab aims to provide a platform for exchange of disciplines, techniques, and knowledge among different research groups. We provide the equipment and the basic training for research to try new techniques in their respective fields.
Intended users
The lab is intended for researchers, technicians and PhD students from the research groups of the EEMCS faculty. Although the focus of the lab is to allow cross-disciplinary research for the research groups, the lab can be used by students (Master’s and Bachelor’s) and student teams.
All users must go through an introductory workshop for the machine they want to use. To use the lab, you need to book the equipment through the official booking system of the SIL, otherwise, you will not be allowed to use the machine.
