For externally funded projects, accurate and timely time registration is essential for both financial management and accountability to the grant providers. Currently, the UT faces the risk of (partial) withdrawal of funding due to incomplete or late time registration. To prevent this in the future, a periodic closure of time reporting periods will be implemented in Unit4 as of January 1, 2025.
What does this mean for your time tracking?
From January 1, 2025, you must record and submit your hours within 4 weeks after the workday. Important! If you are currently more than 4 weeks behind, we strongly encourage you to update your time registration as soon as possible.
Questions
If you have questions about this new process or need assistance with time registration, feel free to contact your project controller or visit the UT time registration page.
Here you will find additional information about the time registration process in Unit4, including instruction videos and quick reference guides.
