An alternative hotel is the U-parkhotel on the campus of the university. If both hotels are full, you may try "Het wapen van Hengelo" or "Hotel 't Lansink" both in Hengelo and there is a good bus connection with the campus of the University which is close to the Broeierd Hotel.
