Wunderbar - Wearable for UNDERstanding Baby Arousal Relations
Stress in babies can manifest itself in various ways, such as excessive crying or, on the contrary, very passive behavior with little response to external stimuli. Many parents with a "crybaby" end up in the hospital, and often no medical cause is found. In 95% of cases, the cause is not medical but may stem from the home environment. The project aims to develop a textile sensor solution (such as a sock, onesie, mattress mat, etc) that can be used at home to monitor stress indicators and potentially identify causes before hospitalization is needed.
