Tamara Ribbers is a PhD candidate specializing in enriched stress detection of Early Life Stress (ELS), part of the HEALS consortium. She works mostly at TNO Leiden and works at the UT at least once a month.
Tamara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering, a Pre-Master in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master’s in Integrated Product Design with a medical specialization (Medisign) from the TU Delft. Tamaraalso holds certificates in Cell Biology and PRINCE2 project management. Before beginning her PhD, Tamara gained experience as a mechanical engineer and manager. She has a strong passion for technology and neuroscience and has actively experimented with stress-related interventions, often using herself as a test subject.
In addition to her research, she serves as the president of the board of Cantiamo, a young women's choir in which she sings as a soprano. Tamara is also a sports enthusiast. She currently participates in a survivalrun club where she enjoys obstacle climbing.
