I hold a BA in Humanities at University of Florence (ITA, 2017) and MA in Cognitive Semiotics at Aarhus University (DK, 2019), counting also a graduate exchange experience at Nanyang Technological University (SG, 2018).
I am currently an Early Stage Researcher [Marie Curie Fellowship EU Horizon 2020 - project NL4XAI] enrolled in the doctoral program of information technology (Programa de Doutoramento en Investigación en Tecnoloxías da Información) at CiTIUS of the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (ES). I am developing my research as industrial PhD student being employed as a data analyst at Minsait by Indra in Madrid (ES).

Objective of my research is to assess risks and opportunities of a human-centered approach to explanations in process mining. Contribution envisioned will be grounded on novel frameworks to ensure users’ adoption and understanding of explanations in a process mining platform through the use of multimodal tools, e.g. natural language and visual analytics tools. This will simplify process information reception for heterogeneous user groups, while providing proactive tools to ensure a trustworthy deployment of XAI techniques in UX design.
