The AI-driven forensic investigation system of the UT, Saxion and the Police Academy has been nominated for the Computable Awards 2025. The Computable Awards are 'the leading professional awards of the Dutch IT sector'. Within this (PhD) research, UT researcher Dimitar Rangelov focuses on crime scenes, looking at 3D reconstructions, gas detection and AI-driven scenario analyses.

The winners of the Computable Awards are determined by a professional jury and the public; the public vote counts for 50 percent in the final result. Voting is open from 16 June to 19 October, and can be done via the Computable website.
