Interaction Lab receives YAT Education Support Spotlight Award

In July, the Interaction Lab team received the Young Academy Twente (YAT) Education Support Spotlight Award. Introduced last year, this award honours individuals and groups dedicated to the constant improvement of education at the University of Twente. For the Interaction Lab team, which is committed to supporting students and researchers in exploring human-machine interactions, this recognition is particularly meaningful.

The Lab’s Goals

The Interaction Lab aims to facilitate the creation of societal impact and novel meaningful interactions. Built on three pillars (Research, Technology, and Togetherness), the lab offers a space where students and researchers can study, interact with, use, and discover new equipment. While primarily focusing on BSc CreaTe and MSc I-Tech students, the lab's technology and knowledge are accessible to anyone at the university for their projects.

Daniel Davison, Head of the Interaction Lab

Over the past years, we have worked closely with our community of students, educators and researchers to establish the Interaction Lab as a hub for working with state-of-the-art interactive technologies. The many amazing projects that have been developed with support from our lab are a great testament to the efforts of our enthusiastic team of student assistants! It is an honour to see our team’s hard work recognised by Young Academy Twente!
