A strong financial organisation cannot exist without having our administration in order and, for now, administratively closing the year 2024. This is not only a responsibility of finance colleagues, but of all of us. Therefore, to ensure that UT administration is correct and complete, we ask you to take the following actions before 31 December:
All employees:
- Register your leave and sick hours completely and correctly in AFAS and Unit4 until 29 December 2024.
- Check and correctly write your project hours in Unit4 before 1 January.
- Register your declarations in Unit4 before 13 December.
- Make sure your working pattern is entered correctly in myhr.utwente.nl.
Additional for managers:
- Check and process your team's written hours and submitted claims by 10 January 2025.
- Approve 2024 purchase invoices no later than 10 January 2025.
From 2025
As of January, we will close the financial administration every month. This is essential to ensure that we have up-to-date insight into income and expenses and that we can make decisions based on accurate information. For you, this means that you must always have your hours, claims, leave and sick hours completed within four weeks of the working day. We realise that this requires a considerable administrative discipline. If you have any difficulties with this or questions, please contact the Finance colleagues of your faculty or department.
