Johann Hurink started his career in Applied Mathematics 25 years ago. Hence, an enjoyable get-together was organised on 20 April during which Johann was put in the limelight and given his 25 years of UT anniversary pin.
One wonders, in those 25 years how many lectures would he have delivered, how many internships and graduation projects would he have supervised, how many PhDs did he supervise, and how many scientific articles did he publish in all those years? We can assume it must be a lot!
At the drinks, it was a pleasant get-together with current colleagues, colleagues who had already left UT or gone to another department.
