After more than 30 years of teaching, research, and innovation, Prof.Hermie Hermens retired from the University of Twente on 25 May 2023.
An inspiring program was created with keynote speakers, Dr. Alfredo Cesario, MD (Gemelli Hospital Rome), Jildau Bouwman (TNO), and Prof. Hermie Hermens himself. They all looked back at what has been achieved, but also in which they looked across the eHealth chain to the future with ambitions for the coming years.
On behalf of the University of Twente, Hermie received the Julianapenning from Prof. Dr. Joost Kok. That medal honors people with "great merits" for the university.
The afternoon was festively concluded with drinks.
