Marina van Damme Runner-up prize for Annemieke Konijnendijk
The Marina van Damme Runner-up prize of 2,500 euros goes to alumna psychology Annemieke Konijnendijk. She received her PhD from UT in 2018. With this personal training grant, Annemieke will deepen her knowledge in the field of epidemiology: the method theory of research into health and disease in populations. This allows her to make a first step towards registering as epidemiologist A. Gaining this knowledge enriches her research field from the implementation of innovations in health care to also evaluation of (digital) interventions in this field. Her motivation is to gain new scientific insights that help to improve health care so that eventually, more people can live longer healthier and happy lives.
