Nienke van Dongen won the Spotlight price

At the Avond van de Chemie (Evening of Chemistry), an annual event organized by the KNCV, Nienke van Dongen won the jongKNCV spotlight prize. This prize, organized by the jongKNCV, targets all Ph.D. students in Chemistry with a strong relationship with the Netherlands (https://jong.kncv.nl/spotlightenglish). To compete, PhD students had to make a short video with a maximum of 1 minute about their research, after which a committee selected the top 3 videos. During the Avond van de Chemie on 13 October 2022 in Leiden, 3 pitches of 3 minutes were presented. The audience of the Avond van de Chemie selected Nienke van Dongen by public voting as a winner. She went home with a real working spotlight and the possibility to record an eye-openers video (https://www.eye-openers.nl/).
