Tim Segers has been interviewed for the 'Universiteit van Nederland':
"It may sound strange, but it's quite possible that in the future, tiny air bubbles—also known as microbubbles—could save your life. Tim Segers from the University of Twente is researching the medical use of microbubbles, which are so small that about twenty of them can fit side by side in a single human hair. His research focuses on how to coat these microbubbles with medicine. By injecting the microbubbles into your bloodstream and then making them burst inside your body, diseases like cancer can be treated much more precisely."
