UT offers the possibility of an interest-free loan for the acquisition of the notebook.

The exact arrangements and conditions for the loan can be found in the students statutes. With the interest-free loan, the University of Twente will advance the funds necessary for your Notebook, which you will have to pay back to the University within 24 months. The maximum amount that you can borrow from UT is €1,000.

Application procedure

Once you've decided to take up a loan with the University of Twente to buy your notebook, one of the conditions to be considered for the loan is that you have already enrolled with the University of Twente and that your application has been processed by the CES department. Furthermore, we request you to fill out the loan agreement and the letter of authority and send it, together with a copy of the order confirmation of your notebook and a copy of your bank card or a statement of account, to:

Documents to be submitted

Are you a senior student? Then also download this form. With this form, go to Student Services in the building “Vrijhof” and hand it in together with the other forms at the FEZ. Once we have checked the particulars, we will transfer the loan to your bank account within 10 business days. Payment of the subsequent invoice from the supplier will be your own responsibility.

Incorrectly and incompletely answered questions will not be processed and are returned to sender!
