Biomedical Engineering

The Master’s programme in Biomedical Engineering trains students in research, design and the development of innovative products and processes that will benefit the healthcare sector. You will develop medical innovations that really contribute to better care. This dynamic, interdisciplinary field combines engineering and natural and life sciences, such as biology, nanotechnology, physics, electrical engineering, chemistry and mechanical engineering. As an exchange student you will be able to select fixed course packages for one of four tracks.

Below you can find information on the Exchange Course Packages offered by the Faculty of Science and Technology (S&T) that are open for exchange students. These Exchange Course Packages are well-balanced, structured sets of courses created around a theme. The course packages consist either 15 ECTS (1 block) or 30 ECTS (2 blocks/1 semester).

Please note that for most course packages you need to meet prerequisites. In some cases MSc level course packages are open to exchange students in their final BSc year with sufficient pre-knowledge.
For some course packages it is possible to select only certain parts/courses. Please discuss your plans with the Departmental Exchange Coordinator. Admittance to any course is always subject to fulfilment of the pre-requisites of that module or course and approval from the Departmental Exchange Coordinator
