Digital Twin Geohub signs MoU with Open & Agile Smart Cities & Communities (OASC)

The Digital Twin Geohub at the University of Twente’s Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Open & Agile Smart Cities & Communities (OASC).

This collaboration aims to strengthen the integration of digital twin technologies in urban and community development, fostering innovation in smart cities worldwide. OASC, a global network promoting interoperability and open standards in smart city solutions, aligns well with the Geohub’s mission of advancing digital twin applications for sustainable urban planning and geospatial intelligence.

The partnership will drive knowledge exchange, collaborative research, and strategic initiatives to enhance the adoption of digital twins in real-world urban environments.
